Real Spirituality

Nothing here is permanent.  What has seeming life one moment can be snuffed out the next.  That’s not meant to discourage you; it’s meant to point you to something that can never be altered – something that can make you happy in a permanent way, because it’s not dependent on what happens.  That’s real spirituality, and it can be there for you no matter what appears to happen.

Act as an Example

You can’t help but be an influence on people when you practice true forgiveness, because every mind is joined. You can’t do other people’s forgiveness work for them, but you can as act as an example.

How Do You Forgive the Past?

So how do you forgive the past? The same way you forgive what’s right in front of your face right now. What is a memory, except a picture in your mind? And what’s this and that you’re seeing right now, except a picture in your mind? So when you catch yourself passively condoning your mind’s mis-creations, you need to take charge. Stop thinking with the ego, switch to the Holy Spirit, and stop making it real. ~ Love Has Forgotten No One: The Answer to Life   Facebook.com/DWMJFphoto

What Do You Value?

The values people have are rooted in the world, but the true value that everyone has is not of this world.  ~ Love Has Forgotten No One: The Answer to Life   Facebook.com/DWMJF/photo

What is Arrogance?

As the ego’s blocks are undone, and you grow in your awareness of spirit, love will not just be something that you do - it will be something that you are, which you share with God. It is not arrogant to think you are the same as God. That’s simply the truth. What is arrogant is to think you can be separate from God. That is the arrogance of the ego.  ~ Love Has Forgotten No One: The Answer to Life

Sacrifice is Not Love

It is not love that asks a sacrifice. But fear demands the sacrifice of love, for in love's presence fear cannot abide. ~ J-Dog, The Voice of A Course in Miracles   Facebook.com/JDogACIM

Gift of Freedom

The time of Christ is the time appointed for the gift of freedom, offered to everyone. And by your acceptance of it, you offer it it to everyone. ~ J-Dog, The Voice of A Course in Miracles

Releasing Hurt

This Christmas give the Holy Spirit everything that would hurt you. Let yourself be healed completely that you may join with Him in healing, and let us celebrate our release together by releasing everyone with us.

The Joy of Christmas

Let no despair darken the joy of Christmas, for the time of Christ is meaningless apart from joy. Let us join in celebrating peace by demanding no sacrifice of anyone, for so you offer me the love I offer you. What can be more joyous than to perceive we are deprived of nothing? ~ J-Dog, The Voice of A Course in Miracles   Facebook.com/JDogACIM   Facebook.com/DWMJF/photo

What Christmas is Really All About

This year, instead of making the holidays the usual orgy of capitalism, make them what they should be. Think about God, and about what you and your brothers and sisters really are.

Mikey's Note: And you know what the Course says, "As you see him you will see yourself." So simple, yet as we all know, not necessarily always easy to apply. But from personal experience, seeing people as innocent is much more satisfying and rewarding than projecting guilt, though the latter may give one some instant, but very temporary, gratification at best. The Spirit of Joining

Everybody celebrates this time of the year. If they could bring their peace into the new year, then it would REALLY be something. Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, Gita Jayanthi - they are all symbols of the acknowledgment of something bigger than the individual realm. ~ The Disappearance of the Univesre

Mikey's Note: I recall Gary saying on one of his holiday podcasts a few years back how people are generally nicer to each other around the holidays, then once we get into the new year, it’s like “the year of new malice!” LOL

Withdrawing Your Belief in the World

Because we believe in this world and think it’s the most important part of this universe, for it’s all we seem to have, it has power over us. It’s our belief that gives it that power and puts us at the effect of it. If you can learn how to withdraw that belief in the world, and put the belief where it really belongs, you can successfully undo the thought system that gave rise to the belief in the first place. You can return to a condition of cause and change your mind. ~ Love Has Forgotten No One: The Answer to Life   Facebook.com/DWMJFphoto   Facebook.com/DWMJF/photo   Facebook.com/DWMJF/photo

Your Job is to Forgive

Don’t always expect good things to happen. Your job is to forgive no matter what happens, and you have to learn to trust the Holy Spirit more and more as you go along.

Melting Away Karma

True forgiveness melts karma away. The cause and effect are both undone. If the lesson is learned and resolved through forgiveness, there is no need for that lesson to return in a future dream lifetime (or later on this one.) Bad karma disappears. ~ Love Has Forgotten No One: The Answer to Life

Receiving Inspired Guidance

A Course in Miracles is very practical in the sense that even though you stop making the world real, you will still receive Guidance from the Holy Spirit as to what you should do while you appear to be here.  ~  Love Has Forgotten No One: The Answer to Life     Facebook.com/DWMJFphoto

Feel Yourself Being Freed

As you practice true forgiveness, you experience more as you go along that you are the one who’s really being forgiven. As you let go of judgment and replace it with forgiveness, you can feel yourself being freed. ~ Love Has Forgotten No One: The Answer to Life

Overcoming Egocentricity

If you can’t say no to the requests of others, then you haven’t yet overcome egocentricity. You’re making it real. You’re saying, “That’s a real body with a real problem, and I’ve got to help.” It totally misses the point. ~ Love Has Forgotten No One: The Answer to Life

Missing God and Heaven

Death is symbolic of your illusory separation from God. What happens when someone you love appears to die? All of a sudden you're separate. You appear to lose them just like you appeared to lose God. But it's not true. You can't really lose them any more than you can lose God. You are inseparable. You cry when a body you love appears to die, but as the Course teaches you, it's really your experience of God and Heaven that you miss. ~  The Disappearance of the Universe

Making Spiritual Progress

If it’s true that as you see him you will see yourself, it would also have to mean that the mentally challenged person who’s going through life seeing other people with love is making more spiritual progress in this lifetime than the intellectual who would rather be right than happy!

The Paradox of Time

Time is holographic, yet the choices you make here appear to be liner. That’s the paradox of time.
~ Love Has Forgotten No One: The Answer to Life
Facebook.com/DWMJF/photo   Facebook.com/DWMJF/photo

Mikey's Note: Holographic meaning, like Einstein noted, that the past, present, and future all occur simultaneously. It’s not our experience, but that’s how time really is not linear as we experience it; it's a false experience. And ultimately, time is already over, we’re just playing out a recording here. Of course I’m talking within the illusion of time and space, because the universe of time and space doesn’t really exist at all; it just appears to.

Forgiving Your Memories

When a past memory comes up that makes you feel bad, you should remember what the Course says it’s for. It’s for forgiveness, just like any other negative thing. Whether what’s in your mind is form the past, present, or future doesn’t matter. It’s all the same because it’s all equally untrue. Having bad memories is actually one form of what the Course calls mind wandering. Remember, it says, “You are much too tolerant of mind wandering and are passively condoning your mind’s mis-creations.”

The ego loves mind wandering, and bad memories are a great way to keep you stuck in your bodily identification, because the feelings that come along with the bad memories make you think that it’s all true, which means everything you remember happening really happened. That in turn, makes all of it real. But the Holy Spirit is telling you that NONE of it is real! ~ Love Has Forgotten No One: The Answer to Life

Don't Wait To Forgive

It’s so important that you don’t wait to practice forgiveness. Don’t wait until next year. Don’t wait until your next lifetime. Your future is being determined by you right now, depending on the choices you make: on whether you chose the Holy Spirit’s interpretation of what you’re seeing or the ego’s.

The World of Shift and Change

Happiness cannot be dependent upon circumstances. If it is, you’re screwed, because the only thing you can count on in a world of shift and change is that it’s going to shift and change.

Quitting the Ego

The Course is a discipline where you quit the ego. You catch yourself thinking with the ego and quit. It’s like quitting smoking. You have to quit the cigarettes before you can breathe the fresh air.
