What Will Make You Happy?

It's only through disciplined application that the practitioner can enter the glorious phase of experience. The Mind is Where Real Power is

You're Never a Victim

Forgiveness is what the individual can do about his or her world, and nobody can ever take that away once you know how to do it. Fear or Love

Fear, sin, rage, guilt, jealousy, anger, pain, worry, resentment, revenge, loathing, envy, and all other negative emotions are versions of the same illusion. That's why the Course taught very clearly, before all the borrowers came along, that, ‘Fear and love are the only emotions of which you are capable.’

People who borrow from the Course instead of teaching it generally make one of two mistakes. Either they try to make up a secular version of the Course, which doesn't work because when you leave out God, you're ignoring the one real problem – the seeming separation from Him – or they make up a version that includes God, but is a dualistic system. This also fails to solve the one real problem because of the very nature of duality. How can you undo the separation from God by believing that God created and acknowledges separation? Thus they end up wasting a lot of time by reinforcing the seeming separation rather than correcting it. ~ The Disappearance of the Universe

Is it not strange that you believe to think you made the world you see is arrogance? God made it not. Of this you can be sure. Jesus Renounced His Specialness

You've got to be willing to surrender the idea of Authorship to God if you want to be able to share in your real power. Humility is the way - not a false humility that says you are in adequate, but a real humility that simply says God is your only Source. You will realize that except for His Love you need nothing. 

When J made statements like, "Of myself I can do nothing," and "I and the Father are one," he wasn't claiming any kind of specialness for himself. Not About Abondoning Common Sense

When the Course talks about not judging your brother, what it means is that you don't condemn him. Obviously, you have to make judgments just to cross the street. The Course isn't talking about abandoning that kind of judgment. Without it, you couldn't get out of bed in the morning. No Such Thing as Luck

Remember something about luck. If everything is already determined then there's no such thing as luck. Yes, in the world there will be times when you appear to be lucky and unlucky, but that's just duality. That doesn't mean you don't do things and play your part. The Real World
