All About How You Look at Other People

Even though what you do isn't the focus, what you do is a result of what you think. So sometimes you can tell a lot about people by the way they are. How you treat other people is a pretty good indication of how you feel about yourself. If you're looking at people with hostility, you're saying that you have a mind that's in conflict. If you're looking at them with kindness, it's a symptom of a mind that has peace. The Insignificance of the Body

Saving Thousands of Years

A miracle, according to the Course, is a shift in perception over to the Holy Spirit’s way of thinking, and not merely a modification of your own thoughts, forms, or circumstances. The Course says that the miracle can progress you much farther and faster along your spiritual path than would have otherwise been possible. Filling the Deep Emptiness

Everyone wants their life to have meaning, but they're looking for it in the wrong place - in the world. People feel a deep emptiness somewhere, and then they try to fill in the hole with some accomplishment or relationship on the level of form. Yet all of these things, by definition, are transitory at best. Any Job Can Be Spiritual

Your Unconscious Guilt: Projecting it or Forgiving it?

Projection always follows denial. People have to project their repressed guilt onto others, or correctly forgive it. Those are the only two choices that are available, no matter how complex the world may seem. Perfect Spirit as Your Identity

Have Fun!

Forgiveness doesn't mean you have to give up anything on the level of form. Your psychological attachment to things (and to people and circumstances) is one of the ways your ego clings to the body and the world. That will need to be forgiven. It masks you unconscious resistance to the truth that there is no world.

Most people don't want to hear that their dreams and passions are really false idols - a substitute for God and Heaven. There's nothing wrong with your dream if you understand it and forgive it. Forgive - and then do what you and the Holy Spirit choose to. And have fun!

The Mature Mind

The illusory universe is a place of tension and release. That's duality. The Gift of Innocence and Forgiveness

When you really get that there's nobody out there but Christ, then you can give the other person the gift of forgiveness and innocence. Then, as the Course teaches you, that's how you'll think of yourself, 'To give this gift is how to make it yours.' Then after you forgive, trust J, who is also the Holy Spirit. Also try to remember that it doesn't matter if you can see results or not. If you work with J or the Holy Spirit and practice forgiveness, then you always have an impact. As the Course says, 'A miracle is never lost. True Forgiveness

True forgiveness means you don't judge and condemn another. There's not really any sin and guilt out there, because nothing's happened except in a dream, and dreams are not real. So J counsels you in his Course not to make the ideas of sin and guilt real in the people, events, and situations you see in the world. Freedom or Bondage?

You meet people in this lifetime whom you’ve had dealings with before in other lifetimes, whether through special love or special hate.
