Component of Forgiveness Part 5

An important component of your forgiveness is that you want to teach people, silently, that they are not bodies. That's how your mind learns for certain that you are not a body. As the Course puts it, ‘I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me.’ And, ‘As you teach so shall you learn.’

Component of Forgiveness Part 4

An additional component of forgiveness would be that after you forgive, if you feel some kind of action is required, then ALWAYS ask the Holy Spirit if there's anything you should do. Remember, the Holy Spirit doesn't do anything in the world, EVER. But He CAN inspire you as to what you should do.

And even though the Holy Spirit doesn’t do anything in the world, His interpretation of the level of form can help you see more clearly what you should do here. That’s just a fringe benefit of choosing Him as your Teacher, not the main reason, which is salvation.

Component of Forgiveness Part 3

The final major component of the attitude of forgiveness: TRUST THE HOLY SPIRIT AND CHOOSE HIS STRENGTH. The peace of the Holy Spirit will be given to you if you do your job. He will heal the larger, unconscious mind that is hidden from you, and give you His peace at the same time. This peace may not always come right away, and sometimes it will. Component of Forgiveness Part 2

Another component of forgiveness would be to FORGIVE BOTH YOUR PROJECTED IMAGES AND YOURSELF FOR DREAMING THEM. The Course tells you to forgive your brother for what he hasn’t done. That would be true forgiveness because, as the Course also says, you’re not making the error real. You’re not giving truth to your illusions; you’re bringing your illusions to the truth. Component of Forgiveness Part 1

A component of practicing forgiveness when you're confronted by an opportunity would be to REMEMBER THAT YOU'RE DREAMING. You authored the dream and made the figures in it act out for you, so you could see your unconscious guilt outside yourself. If you remember you're dreaming, then there's nothing out there but your own projection. Fake Happiness

The Peace of God

Pain is the Problem

Finding Joy

The Will of God

One thing is sure; God, Who created neither sin nor death, wills not that you be bound by them. He knows of neither sin nor its results. Bodies Can't Keep You Apart

The Holy Spirit's love says that bodies cannot keep you apart. Rejoin with yourself through forgiveness, that you and your brothers and sisters may be one and unlimited. Then, if you should choose to join with bodies on the level of form after that, you are simply doing what you're supposed to do - the same things you would have done anyway. You're the One Forgiveness Helps
