It Takes Discipline

Many students in history have thought they could become enlightened simply by living in the presence of a Master; that somehow his or her enlightenment would rub off on them, like catching a virus or something. That would be nice. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way, whether 2600 years ago or today.
