The Awareness of Dreaming

Only Two Things to Choose From

Real spirit is whole and permanent. That's your immortal reality. So no matter what appears to be happening, including death and the in-between-life, the truth is that there are only two things to choose from, your reality with God, or anything else. The Course is Purely Non-Dualistic

The Course is saying the same thing all the way through. From the Text, to the Workbook, and through the Manual, the Course is a purely non-dualistic teaching. It's consistent. And if that's true, and it certainly is, then it means there's only one authentic way to interpret it. In the Text, J says, "Appearances can but deceive the mind that wants to be deceived. And you can make a simple choice that will forever place you far beyond deception." That simple choice is forgiveness, and it's applied the same way to everything, up to and including death. ~ Your Immortal Reality

No Guilt, No World

Arten: Jesus says in the Course, "When you forgive the world your guilt, you will be free of it."

It's Not What You Do

It's not what you do. It's whom you do it with, the ego or the Holy Spirit. Each choice leads to a totally different experience. People may thing they can judge others by what they do, but that's not always the case. Somebody may have a job where they have to do things that may not appear to be spiritual to the world. Yet anything can be spiritual if you choose the Holy Spirit to guide you. So no job is really any more spiritual than any other job. ~ Your Immortal Reality

Protesting the War

It's interesting to watch peace activists and environmental activists. I know some peace activists who hate people. They're out there protesting against the war, which is cool, but what it's really about for them is getting their political opponents whom they hate, or the greedy corporate pigs who they think are exploiting everybody. But those corporate leaders are just people, like everybody else. Yeah, maybe they have an addiction to money, but almost everybody's after something. The interesting thing to me is, if you're against the war thinking about how much you're opposed to your political opponents, then you're doing it with the ego as your teacher. But you could do exactly the same thing with the Holy Spirit as your teacher, and it would be a totally different experience.

From that perspective, it's not about getting your political opponents or expressing your outrage at the powers that be. Now you're protesting against the war as an expression of what you are, which is love, with the idea of having a more loving world. That's a totally different place to be coming from. So it's not what you do that matters. Either way you could be out on the street protesting. Nobody else would be able to tell what's going on in your mind, but for you, it's now about love. Don't Give the Ego an Inch

J's message was a clear as could be. He never compromised on it, and neither should you. If you give the ego an inch, it will take a mile. That's why we're happy to see that you stick to the Course and don't change the message. You have respect for the material. That's excellent, because one of the reasons we appear to you is to help prevent J's message from getting distorted the way it did 2,000 years ago. The Real World

The Holy Spirit is all you need. Then you can let go of the world you thought was yours, and exchange it for the real world. Can't Believe in the Body

J's real message is the OPPOSITE of making the body real. In fact, if you want to be like J, then you want to eventually experience that the body is meaningless. Instead of believing in the body, you want to get to the point where you CAN'T believe it.
