Say
this to anyone and you are slave: “I will forgive you if you meet my
needs, for in your slavery is my release.” And you will seek to rid
yourself of guilt in further bargains which can give no hope, but only
greater pain and misery. How fearful has forgiveness now become, and
how distorted is the end it seeks.

God Did Not Create Bodies
The
“reality” of death is firmly rooted in the belief that God’s Son is a
body. And if God created bodies, death would indeed be real. But God
would not be loving. ~ J-Dog, The Voice of A Course in Miracles Facebook.com/JDogACIM Facebook.com/DWMJF/photo

Unholy Relationship
An
unholy relationship is based on differences, where each one thinks the
other has what he has not. They come together, each to complete himself
and rob the other. They stay until they think that there’s is nothing
left to steal, and then move on. And so they wander through a world of
strangers, unlike themselves, living with their bodies perhaps under a
common roof that shelters neither; in the same room and yet a world
apart. ~ J-Dog, The Voice of A Course in Miracles Facebook.com/JDogACIM

Roles are Reversed in Different Lifetimes
People
may think they’re more enlightened because of their good karma, or that
God has smiled upon them, or that they’re just plain better than other
people but everyone participates equally in the script and ends up with
just as many so-called good lives and bad lives as everyone else.

How much money or success you get has absolutely nothing to do with how spiritually enlightened you are. There's a danger of thinking you're better than other people if you're doing well, even if your feeling of superiority is a subtle one – but that's just a form of the projection of your unconscious guilt.
On the other hand, the people who are having the seemingly less successful lifetimes feel guilty because they’re not doing better! Remember, guilt can be projected onto yourself as well as onto others. In any case, the roles people play are reversed in different lifetimes.

What is it For?
Gary: The news sucks us into seeing someone
else as the guilty party - whether it's the terrorists, the politicians
and their witch hunts, those people who are guilty of crimes, or at
least whomever the prosecutors and the news media want us
to believe are guilty - because getting us to project our guilt onto
others is good for certain careers and ratings. On some talk shows, the
game is about who ever can put other people down the best. On the news,
the more problems they can get us to worry about, the better. All of
this keeps our minds running wild.
Arten: Precisely, which is exactly what the ego wants. As the Course teaches you, '...Preoccupations with problems set up to be incapable of solution are favorite ego devices for impeding learning progress. In all these diversionary tactics, however, the one question that is never asked by those who pursue them is, "What for?" This is the question that you must learn to ask in connection with everything. What is the purpose? Whatever it is, it will direct your efforts automatically.'
Gary: The purpose should be forgiveness and the Atonement.

Your Sinlessness is Guarranteed by God
The self you made, evil and full of sin, is
meaningless. Your sinlessness is guaranteed by God, and light and joy
and peace abide in you. ~ J-Dog, The Voice of A Course in Miracles

Suffering is but a Dream
Loss
is not loss when properly perceived. Pain is impossible. There is no
grief with any cause at all. And suffering of any kind is nothing but a
dream. This is the truth, at first to be but said and then repeated many
times; and next to be accepted as but partly true, with many
reservations. Then to be considered seriously more and more, and finally
accepted as the truth.

Forgive All of It
Just keep doing your forgiveness homework.
Remember, you need to forgive all of it, no matter what may appear to
happen in the future. Only God is real.

What to Do in a Tragedy
When
it comes to what seems to be a terrible tragedy, it's very easy to get
drawn into it. Yes, you have to forgive, but you also need to be aware
of a couple of things in such a situation.
First, choosing to recognize the unreality of the dream doesn't mean you shouldn't be sensitive to the needs and the feelings of people who are involved in a nightmare like that. How would you have felt at that time (going through the death of a loved one or what have you) if some jerk came up to you and started telling you how it was all just an illusion so you shouldn't feel bad? It would just make you angry that your pain wasn't being respected. You can’t expect bereaved people to do anything except grieve. Always allow the feelings and beliefs of others.
Second, it would be equally insipid to tell people at a time like that it's all a script they chose to experience. Let people learn the truth when they're pursuing the truth, not when they're grieving for their friends or relatives. ~ The Disappearance of the Universe Facebook.com/DWMJF/photo

Your Function in Salvation
You have a function in salvation. Its pursuit will bring you joy. But the pursuit of specialness must bring you pain. ~ J-Dog, The Voice of A Course in Miracles Facebook.com/JDogACIM
