The Holy Spirit Recognizes Your Illusions

The Holy Spirit does recognize your illusions, but without believing in them. And the Holy Spirit appears to you in a way that will work the best for you at that time. The Holy Spirit is love, perfect love, just like God. No Distinctions in Heaven

When you become enlightened and you lay your body aside for the final time, then you are no different from God or J or the Holy Spirit. On the level of spirit, it's all the same. Distinctions are only meaningful in illusions, but there are no illusions in Heaven. ~ Love Has Forgotten No One

Reincarnation is an Illusion

It's wise to remember that even reincarnation is an illusion, because you never actually incarnate into a body. Your experience is what Einstein called an "optical delusion of consciousness." Yes, it looks and feels like you're in a body, but this is a trick of the ego, a false experience. A Billion Dollars

So if you get a billion dollars, you think it's because you've used your mind to attract it, when the truth is it was just your turn. It would have happened anyway because that's the way the script was written, and the way you thought and everything else that seemed to occur was part of the script. A hundred years ago it was considered very spiritual to be poor. Some people would even take a vow of poverty! That's why we say it's all subjective. Fads come and go, but real spirituality remains the same. The right idea is to have a kind of spirituality where you can be happy and peaceful no matter what comes  your way. A Narrow Door to Walk Through

PURSAH: There is a narrow door you can walk through, if you're willing to, and it is this: A truly spiritual attitude would be that there isn't any difference between having a healthy body or a sick body. Why? Because neither one is true.
GARY: Then why should I try to have a healthy body?
ARTEN: The answer is why not? This is a preference, not a rule. You become attached to rules and religions, but with a preference you don't have to be attached to an outcome. It's a choice that you make. But it's not something you're overzealous about. You can lighten up and enjoy life, and be prepared to forgive no matter what appears to happen.

Bodies, Healthy or Sick, are the Same

You can't be attached to outcomes or else you're making the whole thing real. People want to attach a value to everything, including bodies, and they don't realize it's all subjective. If they're on a spiritual path, then they assume that it's more spiritual to have a healthy body than a sick body. But is it? There are athletes who have the healthiest bodies in the world, but they're not necessarily spiritually mature. On the other hand, there are very spiritual people who have sick bodies. Doing Healthy Things

You may think, Why should it matter if I do healthy things when it's my thoughts that run everything? The answer is simple. You're trying to educate your ego. Your ego wants you to think you're a body. You want your ego to be undone so you can go home to what you really are. In order to help the ego relax and allow itself to be undone, you do some bodily things while you appear to be here. And you know what? You'd have to do that anyway! If you just sit on a park bench and meditate for the rest of your life, you're still going to have to eat eventually. Even J ate food, had normal relationships, and communicated with people.

The bottom line is that when it comes to your seeming existence here, you should do things that make sense. And eventually you'll get to the point on your spiritual path where it doesn't make any difference because by thinking those right-minded thoughts, you'll get totally in touch with your experience of spirit all the time. But it's a process. Allow yourself that process.

Totally Taken Care of By God

Pain, as well as your body itself, is a mental process. You're the one who's thinking this pain in your dream. It's not real pain; it's a dream of pain, and you're the dreamer. The pain is in your mind, just like the entire dream is. And if it's in your mind, you can change your mind about it. Then, once you're very clear that it's a mental process, tell yourself the same thing the Course says, "The guiltless mind cannot suffer." After a couple of minutes, when you're very clear about that, then tell yourself: I'm innocent, and God loves me unconditionally. All God wants to do is take care of me forever, because God knows I'm just as innocent as God Itself. Picture yourself joining with God and extending into infinity. Magic

There is nothing wrong with using what A Course in Miracles refers to as "magic." Magic is when you try to heal an illusion by using other illusions - for example, trying to heal pain by using medicine or surgery. Those methods are often necessary for people to be healed. If they were healed spontaneously without magic, their ego may become too fearful and find an even worse way to hurt them. There's nothing wrong with throwing the ego a bone once in a while, especially if you know you're doing it. Besides, everything in the illusion is magic. Water is magic. Oxygen is magic. It doesn't mean you don't use them while you appear to be here. ~ Love Has Forgotten no One

The Universe is Not Infinite

Many believe that your universe is infinite, but it's not infinite. As the Course teaches, through the Holy Spirit, there were limits put on your ability to mis-create. And all will eventually accept the truth. As J also teaches, "The acceptance of the Atonement by everyone is only a mater of time. This may appear to contradict free will because of the inevitability of the final decision, but this is not so." So the only free will you really have as prisoners in the illusion is the ability to choose the Holy Spirit, which frees us, instead of the ego, which imprisons us. If you choose to stay here, the outcome is always eventually death. But if you choose to go home, the outcome is eternal life.
