All About Saving Time

Seeing a Forgiven World

Only True Forgiveness Heals

Another thing you should remember is not to be distracted by teachings that may serve others and help them feel temporarily better, but are not part of the path you’ve chosen. There will be those who tell you that when you have a problem, person, or object to deal with you can say, ‘I am that,’ and it will disappear. Becoming one with something in your projection only makes it real for you, and will not undo the guilt in your mind that you can’t see. Only true forgiveness can do that.

There will also be those who tell you that observing and being aware of your emotions will free you from your compulsions. Yes, observing your feelings can lessen their impact, however, it is still not the same as forgiving them. Only the true forgiveness of your relationships, and thus the healing of the unconscious guilt in your mind, can really free you from your compulsions or anything else.

Kick 'em Where the Sun Don't Shine

If someone is attempting to rape a woman, she doesn't have time to join with the Holy Spirit and ask for guidance. In that case, she should do whatever is appropriate. That's not the time to be applying that Workbook Lesson, "If I defend myself I am attacked." Remember, the Course is done at the level of the mind. If you're a woman, and a man is trying to rape you, kick him in the balls.

Renounce the World!

When Jesus said, 'Renounce the world and the ways of the world. Only in that View

A definitive statement from A Course in Miracles, “Forgiveness recognizes what you thought your brother did to you has not occurred. It does not pardon sins and make them real. It sees there was no sin. And in that view are all your sins forgiven.”

I might add that ONLY in that view are all your sins forgiven. If the world is real, then sins are real and they’re guilty, which means you’re guilty, or at least that’s the way it will translate into your unconscious. If they’re innocent because they haven’t really done anything, then YOU”RE innocent because you haven’t really done anything.  ~ Your Immortal Reality

Collapsing Time

If you choose forgiveness instead of the ego, then J has made the following promise to you, 'When you perform a miracle, I will arrange both time and space to adjust to it.'

He's not talking about changing time here, so much as taking out the parts you don't need in your future anymore, because you've already learned those particular forgiveness lessons. What is Quantum Forgiveness?

With quantum forgiveness, you’re not forgiving people because they really did something – you’re forgiving them because they haven’t really done anything. Whatever pushes your buttons and pisses you off on any given day is symbolic of what’s in your own unconscious mind. Once you really get that the world is not being done TO you, but rather BY you, then what you are really doing by practicing true forgiveness is forgiving the symbolic contents of your own mind. Motivation for Letting Go of Grievances

Your real life is in Heaven, and you can also achieve peace and joy during your temporary life here. Those are your motivations for letting go of grievances. Sometimes those motivations won’t seem like enough. What’s going to happen is that when you try to forgive, sometimes you’ll be able to. Yet if you’re really trying to do the Course, then just as often you’re going to come up against a lot of things that you don’t want to forgive and you don’t want to give up. That’s how your resistance and your hidden, unconscious hatred shows up. Turning the Tables on the Ego

I turn the tables on the ego by using the same stuff the ego made to undo it. In order for that to happen, I have to bring my illusions to the truth instead of giving truth to my illusions. The Course says that J’s a savior because he saw the false without accepting it as true. If I do that, then not only will I be a Savior like him, but my mind will be healed by the Holy Spirit at the same time.

Sleeping and Waking Dreams

Pursah: You've experienced wet dreams in your lifetime, right?

Birth is Not a Miracle

Mikey's Note:  The world's way of forgiveness makes everything real, and thus won't undo what you secretly believe to be true about yourself in your unconscious mind.

The Course's way of forgiveness recognizes that nothing has happened, you made up what you are seeing (albeit not on this level.) And by applying that idea to whatever comes up in front of your face on any given day is the way to heal the buried muck in your unconscious. As the Course teaches, "The secret of salvation is but this: that you are doing this unto yourself." Simple concept but not always easy to apply.
