The Endless Present

Breaking the Cycle of Birth and Death

It's absolutely essential to remember that unless and until all unconscious guilt is removed from the mind, you cannot stay in the endless present on a permanent basis. It's impossible. The Course in Miracles Communtiy

Dividing is what the ego does. Everything in the world separates, even if only through death, because everything here is symbolic of the thought of separation. Don't fear that. It will always happen as long as there appears to be any kind of form.

There has never been a church or spiritual organization that didn't undergo some kind of a split, usually sooner rather than later. Your job is to forgive it. Do the Course. If there appear to be divisions on the level of form within the Course community, understand that the way out of it is not on the level of form, it's through the forgiveness of the level of form. The Problem With "Being in the Now"

The problem with being 'in the now,' is that doing so cannot remove the unconscious guilt over the original separation from God that is still hidden in the deep recesses of the mind. Because of that, it makes each experience of being in the now temporary by definition, because it fails to remove the blocks that prevent that experience from being permanent. All of which is to say that there's not just a minor difference between the approach of The Power of Now and the real power of A Course in Miracles. The Experience of Revelation

The experience of revelation, where God Himself silently communicates His Love to you, is beyond this world and cannot be captured with words. This experience sometimes happens to people before they are enlightened but it doesn't always happen, and people shouldn't feel slighted if it doesn't. Each one's path is unique, but the way to God always comes back to practicing forgiveness.

Trusting God

In order to really accept God's helper, the Holy Spirit, you must begin to trust God. You cannot trust Him until you recognize that it is not Him, but you, who is responsible for your experiences. You will feel guilty until you understand that this world is not real, and that nothing has really happened. That doesn't mean you shouldn't act responsibly in the illusion. It means you must understand certain things in order to apply the true forgiveness that enables the Holy Spirit to help you the most.

The Eternal Always

Being in the now does not heal your unconscious guilt and undo the ego. Only One Lack to Correct

The universe of time and space is meant to cover over the one and only problem, which is the seeming separation from God, and especially the one and only solution, which is to go home through forgiveness. As the Course says, and this is very important, 'A sense of separation from God is the only lack you need correct.' A Course in Miracles and the Absolute Truth

A Course in Miracles is a presentation of the absolute truth, which can be summed in just two words, God Is, but only accepted by a mind that has been prepared for it. To accept it however, requires the kind of mind training the Course gives you. Some people may not choose to be prepared in this lifetime. They want the meaning of God and the world to be open to their own ideas. That's fine if that's what they want for now. About Mystics

A great spiritual master like Buddha or Jesus was about pointing people in the right direction and empowering them as to how to return to their source, return to God; they were about empowering the individual to do that for themselves. The Atonement Principle

The Atonement principle undoes denial and projection at the level of your mind by forgiving what you perceive, and the Holy Spirit undoes the denial and projection at the metaphysical level of your mind at the same time – as well as undoing the whole idea of separation right along with you.

You must practice forgiveness on the level where your experience is. Yes, you have to understand the metaphysics of the Course in order to understand what you’re doing. But your forgiveness is done here, which means you should be practical – and respectful of other people and their experience. In other words, when you’re living your everyday life, be kind. Your job isn’t to correct others. Just help the Holy Spirit clean up your wrong mind by switching to your right mind, and then leave the rest to Him.

And when we say you should be kind to others, it doesn’t mean you should be in denial about the ego thought system. But don’t try to change others; change your own mind instead.

Suicide Is Not An Option

Those who commit suicide, in any manner, seek to end the intolerable psychological pain of their guilt and suffering. Since their unconscious guilt remains intact, they merely end up reincarnating and keeping the problem unresolved. Death is not a way out. True forgiveness is the way out.
