The Universe Will Cease to Exist

Pursah: When the false universe is finished being corrected by the Holy Spirit, it will no longer appear to exist. I say it will no longer APPEAR to exist because it does not exist in reality. The true Universe is God's Universe, or Heaven - and Heaven has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the false universe. However, there is a way of LOOKING at your universe that will help you return to your true home with God.

Gary: You're talking about the universe like it's some kind of a mistake. But the Bible says that God created the world, and most everybody believes He did, not to mention all the world's religions. My friends and I think that God produced the world so He could know Himself experientially, which I guess is a pretty common New Age belief. Didn't God create polarity, duality, and all of the opposites in this world of subject and object?

Pursah: In a word, no. God did not create duality and He did not create the world. If He did, He would be the author of "a tale told by an idiot." But God is not an idiot. He can only be one of two things. He is either perfect Love, as the Bible says when it momentarily stumbles upon the truth, or He's an idiot. You can't have it both ways. Jesus was no idiot either, because he wasn't taken in by the false universe.

God Is

The Workbook puts it this way about the two words that speak the absolute truth, '...We say "God is," and then we cease to speak, for in that knowledge words are meaningless. There are no lips to speak them, and no part of mind sufficiently distinct to feel that it is now aware of something not itself. It has united with its Source. And like its Source Itself, it merely is.'

Of course the phrase "God is" must be taken in the light of pure non-dualism. God is, and nothing else is. It's easy enough for people to get the first part of that statement, that God is. The World is not a Divine Creation

J is very clear about what most people erroneously make out to be some kind of a beautiful, Divine Creation of God. To give you just one of many examples, in the Text he says of this world of false idols:

An idol is established by belief, and when it is withdrawn the idol “dies.” This is the anti-Christ; the strange idea there is a power past omnipotence, a place beyond the infinite, a time transcending the eternal. Here the world of idols has been set by the idea this power and place and time are given form, and shape the world where the impossible has happened. Here the deathless come to die, the all-encompassing to suffer loss, the timeless to be made the slaves of time. Here does the changeless change; the peace of God, forever given to all living things, give way to chaos. And the Son of God, as perfect, sinless and as loving as his Father, come to hate a little while; to suffer pain and finally to die.  ~ The Disappearance of the Universe

The Pursuit of Unreal Happiness

The Holy Spirit's Script

Whatever appears to be causing your pain, whether it's a circumstance or a relationship or both, may or may not disappear when you practice forgiveness.
