The Ego is NOT Your Amigo

People will have unconscious resistance to practicing true forgiveness because the ego senses this is its end, and would rather kill you than have you kill it. There are teachers who will tell you to make friends with your ego or make peace with your ego as a way of dealing with it. All that will do is keep it in place.
