It’s
the little everyday things you forgive that add up to salvation. By
practicing forgiveness on those everyday things – not getting what you want, for example – your mind gets into the habit of forgiveness. Then,
when something that appears to be really big happens that you need to
forgive, you’ll be much more likely to be able to do it because your
mind has been trained to forgive. I’m not saying it will be easy to
forgive those seemingly big things, but you’ve made it much more
possible because of your practice, even if it takes you a while to
