You're Never a Victim

Forgiveness is what the individual can do about his or her world, and nobody can ever take that away once you know how to do it. And once you know how to do it, then you realize that you're never a victim, and what you are seeing are merely symbols of your own insanity pictured outside of yourself - except now you have a way to be free of it by releasing the other. Other people in turn will live in peace only after they are willing to look at their own dark side as seen in others and forgive it. ~ The Disappearance of the Universe
