Absurd

There are some individuals who teach that everything J said 2000 years ago - and also those who teach that everything J says in the Course - should be taken literally. That's completely ABSURD. When it comes to what J says, the non-dualistic truth should be taken literally, but anything else is a metaphor. If you understand that - 2000 years ago or today - J makes sense. His Course makes sense all the way through, and the sayings he really said 2000 years ago that survived also make sense. And if you don't understand that, the Course appears to be contradicting itself. There are people who have given up on it because they thought it was contradicting itself when it wasn't.
