Bill (Thetford) understood what the Course was
saying. Only the perfect, non-dualistic oneness of God is real, and
nothing else is real, which is exactly what that ancient Hindu text, the
Vedanta, was saying, although of course, people then took it and misinterpreted it in much the same way they're doing today with the Course.
It’s imperative that you stick to the message of the Course. Don’t
compromise on it. A Course in Miracles is purely non-dualistic. We don’t
want the same thing to happen to the message of the Course that
happened to J’s message 2,000 years ago. That’s one of the main reasons
we’re back: to help keep people focused, including you. We want you to
tell it straight, and if someone criticizes you or your message, then
after you forgive them, tell them that they are in error. You have the
