If
you tell people to choose love instead of fear, which is a superficial
teaching unless it’s explained much further, most of them will think
you’re talking about THEIR love. But that’s not what the Course is
talking about. It’s talking about the
perfect love of God. The world’s idea of love is what the Course would
call special love, because it doesn’t apply to everyone, only those
