Right
now on this earth, there is a spiritual document that comes as close as
anything possibly can to expressing what Jesus actually wants to say.
There is an excellent reason for this. It is because he spoke it, word
for word, to the person who took seven years of her life to write it
down. There are no opinions in it from anyone but Jesus. It was not
edited to suit any religion, nor changed in order
to appeal to a generic audience. Its final editing was directed by
Jesus through this woman. It is a complete presentation as well as a
comprehensive training. It is not meant to be the handbook of a religion
or a code of moral behavior. It is a system of thought proposing that
if you take care of the mind, all else will follow naturally.
Happily, this teaching known as A Course in Miracles, is not designed to
bring forth yet another organization obsessed with changing a world of
dreams instead of the mind of the dreamer. It is a self-study,
one-on-one metamorphosis into Christ that is done at the level of the
mind between you and Jesus, or you and the Holy Spirit, if you prefer to
think of it that way. Either one will do. This puts you in the
fortunate position where you can learn much more from the master than
you could have two thousand years ago - if you are prepared to take
advantage of it.
