The Carrot and a Stick

In the dream there are multiple choice scripts. That may seem to contradict the idea of the whole movie (universe) already being written, but actually, it doesn't, because it has to do with the fact that there are several dimensions open to you and it's possible to switch from one to the other. Yet it's still a closed system, and the very fact that it's limited and fixed supports what we've been saying. The ego's script is like a carrot and a stick.
